Emily Wunder

Emily practices labour, employment, administrative, and human rights law.

Following her call to the bar, Emily spent several years practicing in civil litigation in Ontario and later in British Columbia. Prior to joining Black Burke Mayor, Emily worked for a Vancouver union-side labour and employment law firm, where she represented unions in labour arbitration, before labour relations tribunals, and in court. Emily has appeared before the British Columbia Labour Relations Board, the British Columbia Supreme Court, the Yukon Supreme Court, the Ontario Superior Court of Justice, and the Federal Court of Appeal.

Emily graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School in 2013. She obtained an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Literature and Creative Writing from the University of Windsor in 2009. She was called to the bar in Ontario in 2014 and called to the bar in British Columbia in 2019.
