Jodie practices labour, administrative and human rights law on behalf of public and private sector unions. She has acted for union clients in labour arbitration, before provincial and federal tribunals and at the BC Supreme Court. She has also supported clients engaged in mediation and investigation processes. Jodie has a wide range of experience providing advice and representation on matters such as collective agreement interpretation, collective bargaining, workplace safety, disability benefits and human rights.

Jodie graduated from UBC Law in 2010 and developed an interest in workers' rights after providing legal support to non-unionized farmworkers and tree planters as a law student and later during her articles at a non-profit social justice law firm. She has exclusively practiced union side labour law since being called to the bar. Jodie has a particular interest in the labour rights of migrant workers and the impact of climate change on workers and unions.

Jodie is an active committee member with the Canadian Association of Labour Lawyers (CALL-ACAMS) and volunteers as a supervising lawyer for Pro Bono Students Canada.

Jodie is highly adept at providing legal education on a variety of topics such as accommodation, grievance handling and workplace rights at conferences and directly to clients.

In her spare time Jodie enjoys running and reading.
