Michelle De Cambra
Michelle practices labour, human rights and professional regulatory law.
Michelle joins Black Burke Mayor after practicing at a Vancouver union-side labour law firm, where she represented public and private sector unions. In her role she represented unions in labour arbitration and mediation, before the labour board and at the BC Supreme Court. Michelle also has experience representing professional employees in disciplinary proceedings before their regulatory bodies, and individuals and unions at the human rights tribunal in both BC and Alberta.
Michelle articled at a non-profit organization in Alberta where her focus was criminal, family and civil law. Through her articles and since she has appeared before the provincial and superior courts in Alberta, including the Provincial Court, the Court of King’s Bench, and the Court of Appeal.
Michelle has a wide range of experience providing advice and representation to unions and individuals.
